Prenatal Breastfeeding Classes

This class will be invaluable in helping you achieve your breastfeeding goals. You will be provided with expert information and supportive education to make your breastfeeding experience a successful and empowering one.

Learn why breastfeeding is the natural way for infant feedings
Learn how milk production works
How to use and implement Kangaroo Mother Care
Learn comfortable and effective baby-led, mother assisted latch on and positioning
Learn what to expect in the first few weeks of breastfeeding
Learn how to avoid or overcome challenges and problems
Family life with the baby - Learn how you can be a supportive partner
Special circumstances How to pump and store breast milk

 

Classes are led by
International Board Certified Lactation Consultant and Birth Doula
Timéa Szalay, IBCLC
of Gentle Mothering Breastfeeding Services.

DATES: Starting September 2009, classes will be held every other month on the 2nd Saturdays.
