I am is
passionate about breastfeeding and holistic healthy
living. Love to help everyone, especially mothers
to achieve their own breastfeeding and health goals, and
providing them with guidance to live a well-balanced
lifestyle. I am living in Central Ontario with my amazing,
supportive husband of over 22 years, and 4 boys.
As a lactation consultant my goal is to help mothers have a positive breastfeeding experience. I have worked with Dr. Jack Newman for 6 years at the Newman Breastfeeding Clinic & Institute in Toronto, Ontario, Canada |
Currently I am in private practice offering breastfeeding
support, teaching prenatal breastfeeding classes, holding
workshops for birth professionals, providing birth doula
services, holistic nutrition consulting and holistic wellness/lifestyle
coaching.
I am a CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach (Level 1) as well, using the cutting-edge techniques of world-renowned Holistic Health Practitioner and certified Neuromuscular Therapist Paul Chek; founder of the C.H.E.K Institute in San Diego, CA. Chek, a sought-after teacher and speaker, has had unparalleled success using his holistic approach in rehabilitation and conditioning for over 18 years.
To
become a CHEK HLC, I have attended the
CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach Advanced
Training Program. This program
combines an intensive study of the relationship between food and
lifestyle habits and the tools to recognize and create
individualized eating plans to improve their client’s health and
overall wellness. In addition, a CHEK Holistic Lifestyle Coach
understands the important roles that sleep, food quality, stress
reduction techniques, and exercise play in improving the health
of their clients and learn
practical methods that initiate valuable
lifestyle changes.
As part of my commitment to excellence and in keeping the requirement of continuing education, I am continually taking courses and workshops to deepen my knowledge and skills in a variety of different modalities that will benefit individual clients.
In my spare time I am an animal and nature lover. I am a morning person and it is no surprise to see me awake early morning even on a Sunday. My household includes two dogs, two cats, a guinea pig and a budgie.
I am serving South Simcoe County, York Region and the GTA, Some part of Dufferin and Durham as well.
